Cozy Snake Frogame Original
About Cozy Snake
Cozy Snake is a Frogame Original rebuild of the game everyone already knows — grow by eating, die by crashing — tuned for a phone screen and a five-minute break. The grid is 20×20, the snake starts at three segments, and every fruit adds a link and ten points.
Two things make this version its own. First, speed is a choice rather than a punishment: Chill, Classic and Fast are all first-class modes with separate high scores, and a Wrap option lets you pass through walls if you'd rather only fear yourself. Second, golden fruit — every fifth snack spawns one that's worth fifty points and doesn't lengthen you, but only lasts eight seconds. Chasing it is a genuine risk calculation once your tail fills the board.
Controls are built for touch first: swipe anywhere, or use the direction pad below the board, with an input queue so a fast double-turn never gets swallowed. Arrow keys and WASD work identically on desktop.

How to Play
Steer the snake with swipes, the on-screen pad, arrow keys or WASD. Eat fruit to grow and score; crash into a wall or your own tail and the run ends. Golden fruit appears after every five normal snacks and is worth fifty points without adding length — but it vanishes after eight seconds.
Cozy Snake Tips & Tricks
- Hug the edges early and leave the middle open — a snake coiled in the center runs out of room fast.
- Plan two turns ahead, not one; the input queue will hold your second turn for you.
- Skip golden fruit when your tail is long and the route is tight. Fifty points isn't worth ending a 500-point run.
- Chill mode is the honest place to learn board control; Fast mode is where reflex takes over.
- In Wrap mode, edges become shortcuts — but your own tail is still the thing that kills you.

Cozy Snake FAQ
What's the difference between the speed modes?
Chill, Classic and Fast set how quickly the snake moves, and each keeps its own high score — so a Chill record and a Fast record are separate achievements.
What does Wrap mode do?
Walls stop being fatal: you exit one edge and reappear on the opposite side. Your own body is still deadly, which changes the strategy more than you'd expect.
Why did my turn not register?
It should — inputs are queued rather than dropped, so a quick double-turn executes in order on the next two steps. What you can't do is reverse directly into your own neck.
