About Hoops & Fruits

Hoops & Fruits is a drag-and-toss physics game about ringing fruit with hoops. Each level presents a spread of colorful fruit targets; you draw your throw, release, and watch the hoop arc, bounce and — on a good day — drop cleanly around a watermelon.

The draw-to-throw mechanic gives it a pleasant dexterity-puzzle feel. Easy levels are about touch; later ones arrange the fruit so a single well-planned throw can hoop several targets at once, and that multi-catch is where the scoring and the satisfaction live. Bright art and a cheerful soundtrack keep the mood light even when a level makes you retry a tricky bank shot a dozen times.

It is a portrait one-thumb game at heart, ideal for phone play, though the mouse gives desktop players slightly finer control over throw strength.

How to Play

Drag from the hoop to set the angle and power of your toss — the longer the pull, the stronger the throw — then release. The hoop obeys physics on the way, bouncing off surfaces before it settles, and a fruit counts when the hoop lands fully around it. Clear the level's targets to advance, and chase multi-fruit throws for the big scores.

Hoops & Fruits Tips & Tricks

  • Small pulls are precision throws; most misses come from overpowering a shot that needed a lob.
  • Read the level for lines — fruit arranged in a row or cluster is the designer inviting a multi-catch.
  • Use walls and surfaces deliberately: a bounced hoop often lands more vertically, which catches fruit cleaner.
  • If a level keeps refusing you, change your first target. The intended solve order is not always the obvious one.

Hoops & Fruits FAQ

What makes a throw score more?

Hooping multiple fruits with one throw. Single catches clear levels, but the game's scoring clearly rewards the ambitious lined-up shots.

Is Hoops & Fruits luck-based?

The physics is consistent, so no — the same pull produces the same arc. Once you calibrate your touch, results are all skill and planning.

Can I play it one-handed on a phone?

Yes — the portrait layout and drag-release control were clearly built for thumb play.
