Cozy Solitaire Frogame Original
About Cozy Solitaire
Cozy Solitaire is a Frogame Original: classic Klondike, rebuilt from scratch for the way people actually play today — on a phone, one-handed, in stolen minutes. The rules are the ones you know: seven tableau columns building down in alternating colors, four foundations climbing from Ace to King, a stock you can cycle through as often as you need.
What we changed is the friction. Move cards however feels natural: drag them exactly where you want (sequences travel together, and on touch the cards lift above your finger so you can see the drop), or simply tap a card and it flies to its best legal home, foundations first. Undo is unlimited and honest (it rewinds everything, including flipped cards and the stock), the hint button points out a genuinely useful move rather than shuffling you in circles, and once every card is face-up, Auto Finish sweeps the rest onto the foundations for you.
Scoring follows the classic table — five points for builds and reveals, ten for a foundation card, a penalty for taking one back — with your best score, moves and time kept on your device. Two looks are included: a warm cream table and a traditional green felt.

How to Play
Tap the stock to deal a card to the waste. Tap any face-up card to send it to its best legal spot — foundations take priority, then tableau builds in alternating colors and descending rank. Kings (alone or leading a sequence) can take an empty column. Clear all 52 cards onto the foundations to win; fewer moves and a faster clock mean a better score.
Cozy Solitaire Tips & Tricks
- Reveal face-down cards before anything else — every flip opens new lines, and the +5 adds up.
- Don't rush cards to the foundations: a low card you might still need for a tableau build is often worth holding back.
- Empty columns are for Kings, so think about which color King you want there before you clear one.
- Undo is free and unlimited — use it to scout a line, then rewind if it goes nowhere.
- If the hint keeps suggesting the stock, that's the game telling you the tableau is genuinely stuck — deal on.

Cozy Solitaire FAQ
Is every deal winnable?
No — like classic Klondike, some deals can't be won, and that's part of the game. With draw-1 and unlimited stock cycles the odds are friendly though: our automated tester wins over half of random deals, and a thoughtful human does better.
Should I drag or tap?
Both work — drag cards traditionally, or tap for instant auto-move to the best legal spot. Tap is fastest for routine plays; drag gives full control when you want a specific destination.
How does scoring work?
Classic rules: +5 for a waste-to-tableau move or a revealed card, +10 for each card onto a foundation, and −15 if you bring a foundation card back down. Moves and time are tracked separately, with your best result saved locally.
Is this really made by Frogame?
Yes — original code and original card art, built and maintained for this site. Copies elsewhere are unofficial; the up-to-date version lives on this page.
