Cozy Ten Frogame Original
About Cozy Ten
Cozy Ten is a Frogame Original built on one of the most quietly addictive rules in puzzle games: pair two numbers that are equal, or two that add up to ten, and both disappear. The catch is what counts as a pair — the numbers must be neighbours along the reading order of the board, or directly above one another in a column, with any already-cleared gaps simply skipped.
That skipping rule is what turns a simple arithmetic game into a spatial one. Clearing a pair opens paths between numbers that were nowhere near each other before, so a board that looked exhausted often has three more moves hiding in it. When you genuinely run out, the Add Row button copies what's left onto the end of the board — you get three of those, plus one more for every twenty numbers you clear, so playing well literally buys you more game.
Clearing a whole row folds it away with a bonus, combos build as you chain pairs, and there's an undo for the move you regret. No timer, no lives, just you and a shrinking grid.
How to Play
Tap one number, then tap its partner. They clear if the two values are equal or sum to ten, and if they're adjacent — either side by side along the row-by-row reading order (skipping empty spaces) or one directly above the other in a column. Clear the whole board to win. Out of moves? Add a row, which appends the remaining numbers to the end.
Cozy Ten Tips & Tricks
- Scan columns as carefully as rows — vertical pairs are the ones players miss most.
- Clearing pairs near the start of the board opens long-range connections through the gaps; clearing at the tail rarely does.
- Try to empty whole rows: the fold-away bonus is worth more than two ordinary pairs.
- Adds are a resource, not a lifeline — every twenty numbers you clear earns another one, so efficient play compounds.
- When a board looks dead, walk it once left to right and once column by column before spending an add.

Cozy Ten FAQ
Which pairs are allowed?
Two equal numbers (7 and 7) or two that make ten (4 and 6). They must be adjacent in the row-by-row sequence or vertically aligned — and empty cleared spaces don't block the connection.
What does Add Row do?
It copies every number still on the board, in order, onto the end — the classic rescue rule for this genre. You start with three and earn more by clearing numbers.
Is the game always winnable?
Not guaranteed — like the pen-and-paper original, some positions run dry. Skilled play (and saving your adds) is what turns a stuck board into a cleared one.
How is scoring calculated?
Ten points for a matching pair, fifteen for a pair that makes ten, thirty for folding away a full row, and a combo multiplier while you keep chaining clears.
