About Cozy Spot

Cozy Spot is a Frogame Original spot-the-difference game built the unusual way: instead of a fixed library of photo pairs, every scene is generated by code. Dozens of shapes — trees, clouds, stars, blocks — are arranged fresh each round, then five differences are introduced.

That design has a real consequence for players: you cannot memorize this game. A puzzle you've solved will never appear again, because the next one is composed on the spot from a new seed. Differences come in five flavours — something changed color, changed size, moved, vanished or appeared — and the harder difficulties both shrink the change and crowd the scene.

Rounds are 120 seconds with a gentle penalty for wrong taps, and two hints per round will circle a difference for you. It's a pure observation game with no reading, no rules to learn, and nothing to buy.

How to Play

Compare the two scenes and tap any difference you spot — it gets circled and counted. Find all five before the timer runs out. Wrong taps cost a little time, and two hints per round will circle one difference for you.

Cozy Spot Tips & Tricks

  • Work in quadrants rather than scanning randomly; comparing the same region in both scenes is far faster.
  • Look for missing things last — absences are harder to see than changes, and they're often what's left.
  • Colour differences read fastest at a glance; size changes hide best near the edges.
  • Don't tap speculatively on Hard — the time penalty costs more than a careful second look.
  • If you're stuck at four out of five, re-scan the busiest cluster; crowded areas hide the last one.

Cozy Spot FAQ

Are the scenes pre-made?

No — each scene is generated procedurally from a seed, so every round is a new puzzle and none of them can be memorized.

What kinds of differences are there?

Five types: a changed colour, a changed size, a moved object, a removed object, or an added one.

What happens if I tap the wrong spot?

A small time penalty — enough to discourage random tapping, not enough to end your round.
